Tirumala Tirupathi Venkateswara Temple is well known as famous Vedic temple in the hill town of Tirumala, near Tirupati located in Chittoor district of Andhra Pradesh. It is around 600 km from capital city Hyderabad, 138 km from Chennai and 291 km from Bangalore. Tirupati will attract several million people from all around the world throughout the year.

Tirupathi is surrounded by the Sri Kodandaramaswami Temple, Sri Annapurna Sameta Kasi Visweswaraswami Temple and Sri Venkateswara Dhyana Vignan Mandiram. It is equipped with with vast number of tourist attractions listed the Swami Pushkarini Lake, Papavinasam Teertham, Asthana Mandapam, TTD Gardens, Sri Vari Museum and Mamandur.

Tirumala Tirupathi is also well known as the richest pilgrimage centre, located on seven hills are called Seshadri, Neeladri, Garudadri, Anjanadri, Vrushabhadri, Narayanadri and Venkatadri. Around 50,000 to 100,000 pilgrims visit daily to Tirupathi, while approximately 500,000 people visit during festival season and it is considered as the most-visited holy place in the world.

TTD is an individual trust which manages the Tirumala Venkateswara Temple at Tirumala, Andhra Pradesh, where it will operate and finance of the richest and the most visited religious temple in the world.  Around 16,000 people are working in Tirumala Tirupathi Venkateswara Temple.
