Rail traffic disrupted between Bangalore, Mangalore
Landslides took place in Karnataka, which affected the rail traffic. Following these landslips, the trains shuttling between the state capital Bangalore and Mangalore were cancelled on Tuesday. In a press release by the South Railway, it was mentioned that the landslides took place between Yedekumeri and Shrivagilu stations in Mysore division.
The trains cancelled by the railway include Kannur-Yashvantpur-Kannur Express with train numbers 16518 and 16517. The two and fro train moves via Mangalore Central. Another train, which touches Mangalore Junction was Karwar-Yeshvantpur Express with train number 16516. Even this train was cancelled. There was no information from the railway authorities whether train services would resume or not on Wednesday.
