Kannada Kanteerava, Gaana Gandharva, Dr. Raj Kumar is one man that Kannada film industry would never forget. Raj Kumar is to Kannada cinema what Rajesh Khanna was to Bollywood. Right from acting to singing, Annavaru (as Raj Kumar was called by his fans) has marked himself as an all rounder not just on silver screen but even in reality.  And when the world lost him physically, there were no boundaries to pains experienced by scores in Karnataka.

A legendary personality is no more, but his legend will remain forever. Penned down by his son, Puneet Rajkumar, book on Annavaru will focus on the real life episodes of late Raj Kumar. It was said that it took nearly eight years for Puneet to write a book on his late father. 'The Person Behind The Personality,' is a pictorial biography. Some exclusive photos of Annavaru, which the world didn't see are being published in this book.

Dedication and commitment can take a person to zenith and the book by Puneet sets as a shining example of the same. It shows the off screen life of the super star and how he struggled durting his initial days.  This book reportedly contains 1,750 photographs of Kannada Kanteerava.
