Reacting to the Censor Board’s latest decision of banning some objectionable words, actor Aamir Khan has said he is totally against banning any kind of material in media or films. "I am totally against banning any kind of material. When the Information & Broadcasting minister spoke to us, he also clarified that actually the ministry has no such list of cuss words. It's a certification board and not the censor board. It was nice to hear that," Mr Khan said. The people with the knowledge about information revealed that the Censor Board’s new chairman Pahlaj Nihalani had put the 2003 order back in action. He banned a list of 28 objectionable or cuss words in any movies or documentaries. He however lifted the ban following a public agitation. Aamir Khan, 50, who is known for exceptional roles in movies like 'Lagaan’,’3 Idiots’ and ‘PK’, asked how a movie can be banned just because few people doesn’t like the content. He referred to the 2013 Kamal Haasan movie 'Vishwaroopam' that created a controversy leading to a ban. "I really feel ashamed that at that time I was lost in my work but as an industry that was the time we had to come together. I apologize to you (Kamal Hassan) publicly that I wasn't there at that time. I feel bad that we weren't there with you. Banning a film is not right. "Once the film has received the certification, it is the responsibility of the state to make sure that people can watch the film without any fear," he saidUnlike most of his costars, Aamir is not driven by the box office collections and number mania. "I am not someone who talks about my number. That is the last thing on my mind when I am selecting a film. The day I start selecting a film on the possible commercial success that will be the end of my creativity. I feel that commercial interest stifles growth," he added.

Ashiqui 2 actress Shraddha Kapoor shared her views on make-up in an interview taken at ongoing Lakme Fashion week yesterday in Mumbai. As most of us think actress are more concerned about their make-up and they don’t even like to step out without it. But it was not true in all cases, some actress like Shraddha Kapoor says they are more comfortable without makeup and she isn’t at all scared to be seen without make-up. "There were many times when I am out and I don't know whether there is a photographer or not and I am caught without make-up. I am comfortable being shot without make-up. I think you have to be comfortable with your own skin and then make-up or no make-up, it won't bother you much". Young and pretty actress Shraddha feels "make-up is very special moment in every girl's life" and recalls her memorable incidents of school days. "I was very young when I tried make-up for the first time. I was in junior KG class when I attended an annual function. There was a qawwali song with bunch of girls and I saw the pink shade of lipstick that my mom always used to wear. I was waiting to wear that lipstick and have some make up and blush. I have the picture of that day too and that's when I was allowed to wear make-up" she added. Shaddha made her debut with ‘Teen Patti’ in Bollywood but ‘Ashiqui 2’ had brought celeb name and fame to her. Being an actress she knows how important to have make-up on sets but when she was out she would prefer to move without make-up. As wearing it too much causes skin allergies, infections and also results in ageing sooner, it is good to avoid make up once in a while. AW: Lizitha

But they forget I've been a part of the film industry for many decades. No film producer will doubt my integrity” he added.
