The union home minister P Chidambaram has called upon Congress cadres in Karnataka to take advantage of the internal political crising in ruling BJP in the state. Chidambaram said people were disappointed at the petty politics in the state. He asked Karnataka Congress leaders to stand united and take maximum advantage of the situation. He has also said that no state in the Indian politics witnessed three chief ministers in four years span of life.

The political observers have found fault with the statement of Chidambaram. Asking leaders to take advantage of the situation only reflects the greed to come back to the power, opined the analysts. They have also said that any party would undoubtedly come to power and for that all the party folks should do is to concentrate on the developmental activities of the public and not on the internal disturbances in the political party. Also, they said Chidambaram seemed to have ignored the political situation in Andhra Pradesh.
