Story

Subhash Nagre aka Sarkar (Amitabh Bachchan) continues to rule Maharashtra and dominate the state's politics even after losing his sons Shankar (Abhishek Bachchan) and Vishnu (Kay Kay Menon). He finds a trusted son Gokul (Ronit Roy) during which his grandson Shivaji (Amit Sadh) dreams of turning the next Sarkar. Shivaji is romantically involved with Anu (Yami Gautam) who plans to seek revenge from Sarkar for killing her father. The rest of Sarkar 3 is all about the drama and what happens next.

The first half of Sarkar 3 starts with a power packed speech of Sarkar. However within minutes the film takes a huge down and turns extremely predictable. One who has been following Sarkar right from the first instalment will be left irritated with Sarkar 3 as the film offers nothing. All the major twists are completely predictable and the first half of Sarkar 3 is a huge disappointment with more unnecessary drama throughout.

The second half too has been loosely executed and many unwanted episodes kill the interest among the audience. Some of the interesting scenes have been well hurried and Ram Gopal Varma fails completely in penning an interesting script for Sarkar 3. There are a lot of loose ends in the story, such as when an important character gets killed, there’s only one follow-up scene to it and no mention of it later.

Performance :

Big B Amitabh Bachchan has been completely impressive in the role of Sarkar. His screen presence has been shattering and his voice is a huge asset for the film. Amit Sadh has been decent but he has very less screen presence. Ronit Roy comes out with his best performance. Manoj Bajpayee and Yami Gautam has been amazing in their roles and they have been flawless. All the other actors delivered out their best for There are a lot of loose ends in the story, such as when an important character gets killed, there’s only one follow-up scene to it and no mention of it later.

Sarkar 3 has nothing interesting and new in terms of plot. The screenplay has been loosely adapted and the dialogues lack excitement. The cinematography work by Amol Rathod has been exceptional and is the major highlight of the movie. The background score has been decent and the production values have been good. Ram Gopal Varma fails once again badly in churning out Sarkar 3 into an interesting action drama.

Final Word

Sarkar 3 shocks the audience as it fails completely in impressing the audience. Amitabh Bachchan happens to be the only saviour of the film.

    Tubelight Movie Review

The first half of Tubelight manages to build the characters of the film. The narration has been dead slow that it leaves the audience irritated. Though the film lacks interesting plot, Kabir Khan manages to narrate the film depending on the bonding between two brothers. Salman has been showcased in a never seen dull character which may not be digested by most of the audience and his fans. The first half of Tubelight offers nothing. The second half which is quite crucial too manages to stand dull and makes no impact all over. The songs look completely outdated and they test the patience of the audience. The unwanted characters kill the film’s flavour completely and Tubelight on the whole fails in all the available ways to impress the audience. With a routine and predictable climax, Tubelight second half is a massive disappointment.

    Bank Chor Movie Review

The first half of the film starts on a comic note however the film turns out to be a thriller soon after 20 minutes. The major disadvantage of the film is most of the episodes look fake and the movie has been completely dragged with a silly and simple line. Though Ritesh Deshmukh and Vivek Oberoi try to impress the audience, this alone could not save the movie. The first half of Bank Chor leaves the audience in deep confusion if they can continue watching the second half. Bank Chor has enough scope for entertainment and suspense but it is the narration that slams the entire film. With the thieves relaxing in the banks and playing video games while the cops and CBI waiting outside the bank for hours will not go well with the audience. The pre-climax and the climax episodes kill the film completely and they look completely dragged. Each and every scene looks predictable. On the whole, the second half of Bank Chor makes the film fall flat.

    Raabta Movie Review

Raabta has some interesting moments and the romantic episodes which will sure impress a set of young audience. But this alone is not enough for a film to end up impressive. Raabta has many poorly written episodes and most of them look fake. Things change within fraction of seconds and the film switches a romantic saga to the deadly Game of Thrones which is something hard to digest. The songs have been decent but the characters have not been linked good. With many flaws, the first half of Raabta tries hard to convince the audience. At the same time, the second half of Raabta too suffers huge lag because of the poor writing and narration skills. Most of the episodes have been loosely executed and looks outdated. Sushant Singh Rajput seems hyper active in many of the episodes and some of the characters have been utterly wasted. Jim Sarbh has been extremely stupendous on screen but his character has not been written well. With a poor second half, Raabta ends up on a dull note and it completely fails to impress the audience.

    Behen Hogi Teri Movie Review

The first half of Behen Hogi Teri has been dencent and engaging with some impressive entertainment throughout. Rajkumar Rao takes many episodes to the next level and some of the interesting scenes make Behen Hogi Teri decent. Most of logics have been well written throughout the first half. The movie looks natural with many colony episodes and many interesting characters coming around. On the whole the first half of Behen Hogi Teri has been convincing. The second half of Behen Hogi Teri surprisingly makes no impact on the audience. The major plot has been sidelined and Behen Hogi Teri loses the needed grip. After such a decent first half, the second half gets hammered after the plot misses the major logic. After the audience get irritated completely, the film inches towards completion. On the whole the second half of Behen Hogi Teri falls flat.

Dobaara: See Your Evil Movie Rating

Dobaara has an interesting first half however it is not at all scary as projected in the trailer. The makers made sure that there are not many characters in the film. The performances by the lead actors make the film interesting however the film lacks engaging narration in many aspects. Some of the interesting episodes have been badly presented. One couldn’t initially make out if Alex Merchant was possessed or schizophrenic. The interval episodes get convinced that the film is a psychological thriller. The second half of the film too has been loosely executed and will leave the audience confused. Many of the interesting episodes have been clearly ignored and the major plot has been sidelined. The performances by the lead actors drive the film completely. The pre-climax episodes make the film interesting and the climax has been completely predictable. On the whole, Dobaara has a second half that will leave the audience disappointed.

Sachin: A Billion Dreams Movie Review

Sachin: A Billion Dollar Dreams starts on an interesting note revealing about the life of Sachin. Right from his childhood days, Sachin takes it to narrate about many crucial phases that took place in his career. The film reminds about those days during which Sachin smashed the cricket ball taking back everyone to the world of Sachin’s empire. Though it is a documentary, Sachin: A Billion Dollar Dreams assures the audience not to be disappointed. It has many interesting aspects narrated in the best available way. The second half of the film too maintains the grip completely and it manages to stand tall. Those who are not much aware of cricket too will be related to Sachin’s story as the film has been laced with many interesting aspects. Sachin narrating the story will relate the audience emotionally and he managed not to touch the controversies and the criticism that he faced during the tough times in his career. On the whole, Sachin: A Billion Dollar Dreams will end up as an impressive drama.
